Community

A mindful community living in harmony with one another and with nature.

At Holos we cultivate a living community — woven through ceremony, contribution, and conversation — that extends far beyond the boundary of any single retreat.

An invitation

The community at Holos begins long before arrival. It begins in the quiet decision to come, in the questions you carry, in the people you happen to mention it to. By the time you reach the ridge, you are already met — by the team, by the land, and by the others who chose the same week as you.

We hold that community on three timescales. The week of a retreat is the most visible — circle, food, walks, the late-night cool after the fire goes down. But there is also a quieter, longer rhythm: pre-arrival reading and prompts; post-checkout integration and alumni gatherings; a steady cadence of conversation that crosses oceans and continues for years.

And beneath both is the local community — the families and farmers of the Diamante Valley, the wisdom keepers of the Brunca lineage, the neighbors whose generations on this land long pre-date ours. That relationship is the one we hold most carefully.
